Friday 23rd January students are invited to “Wear It Blue” – a blue accessory to go with their uniform, maybe a scrunchie or a blue tie, hat or gloves .. so many options.
Students are requested to make a donation on the day. This is being organised by our fabulous 6th form charity team.
There will also be a bake sale to continue to raise funds for their chosen charity cause, at lunch time on this date. Any donations of cakes would be greatly received! Please take any along to reception on Friday morning.’
We are very proud of the huge range of clubs and after-school activities which pupils are encouraged to participate in. ‘Session Six’, as it is known, provides many opportunities to take part in music, drama and sports, as well as a regular ‘Homework Club’ in the school Library. The school employs sports coaches and peripatetic teachers to support this programme and many staff give of their time freely to run these extra sessions. Revision sessions also occur throughout the year.
The list below gives examples of our current provision. However, these do change, so please do not consider the list to be definitive. Details of each day’s after-school activities are communicated to each tutor group at morning registration.
Session 6 after school activities will be starting soon. A timetable with a variety of activities and opportunities will follow!
